A blink of an eye

I remember our first birthing class, all first time mommys with swollen bellys, telling everyone our names and when our due dates were. We were all so surprised that we were due within 2 weeks of eachother. Fast forward one year. Lips smeared with blue and pink frosting as they eat their "1" cookies at their first birthday party. For the past year we have remained friends, been on countless walks, pushed eachother's little ones on the swings, and had long chats sitting in the grass about the frustrations of motherhood. But as the year progressed those talks of frustrations have turned to, for the most part, talks of celebrations, and the joys of sleeping through the night. I consider myself so lucky to have such great friends who have loved Maggie just as I have loved their little ones. Happy Birthday Maggie, Howie, Liesanna, Colton and Randi!!
