Today we celebrated Maggie's first birthday. And what a fun day it was. Granny, Grandma, and Papa all made long treks in the fresh snow that came just for Maggie. We had a house full of good friends and family, good cake and many new presents that everyone enjoyed playing with. Maggie has already taken up an interest in music. Everything to her is a drum. So Miss Colleen and Uncle Jason both gave Maggie drums and she knew exactly what they were as soon as they got out of the box.
Both my mom and Cory's mom fondly remembered this day a year ago when they sat at our kitchen table and drank coffee and talked about their new found love, newborn Maggie.
Has it really been a year? Don't grow up too fast Maggie Mae!!
